Also in May, Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 will receive One UI 6.1

Samsung today officially announced that One UI 6.1 with proprietary AI features for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 smartphones will be released in May of this year.

In early May, the firmware will be released for the Galaxy S22 line, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, as well as the Galaxy Tab S8 line of tablets. By the end of May, the expected software will be released for the Galaxy S21 line, Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3.

The fact that One UI 6.1 for ex-flagship Samsung will be released quite soon — this is good, but there is a nuance: all functions will not be implemented in the firmware for older models. In particular, the Galaxy S21 will receive only two functions: Circle to Search and Magic Rewrite. Devices released in 2022 will have the same AI features as the Galaxy S23 FE (that is, all except Instant Slo-mo, which allows you to slow down any video).
