With a share of 11%
Nvidia grew so big thanks to the AI boom that it eventually became TSMC's second-largest customer.
According to recent data, in 2023, Nvidia accounted for 11% of TSMC's total revenue — the world's largest manufacturer of semiconductor products and the only one who has been producing chips at 3 nm standards for some time.
The largest client of TSMC remains Apple with a share of 25%, that is, Nvidia is still far from it, even taking into account the impressive growth rates of sales of accelerators. However, it is not a fact that at this rate Nvidia will not displace Apple in the foreseeable future.
In addition, it is reported that just TSMC's 10 largest customers account for 91% of its total revenue. In addition to Apple and Nvidia, these are MediaTek, AMD, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Sony and Marvell.
