This is the flagship of the line
Intel recently introduced Lunar Lake processors, laptops with which will appear on the market before the end of the year. Intel revealed a lot of details, but did not say anything about the names or parameters of specific models. Now we have this information too.
Firstly, it is confirmed that the Lunar Lake line will be named Core Ultra 200V. Secondly, it seems that the older model will be the Core Ultra 7 268V.
This CPU will operate at frequencies of 2.2-5.0 GHz, that is, Intel’s new products will not be high-frequency by modern standards. However, Lunar Lake is focused on energy efficiency, so this is logical.
This CPU will also have a top-end iGPU with eight Xe cores and 32 GB of its own RAM. Whether the same processor will be available with 16 GB of RAM is unclear.
You can select 14 MB of L3 cache, 12 MB of L2 cache and BGA 2833.
Judging by the information that has already been collected at the moment about the Lunar Lake line as a whole, it may be that there will be few processors in it (four models are known so far), and they will differ slightly from each other . For example, we have not seen a single CPU with less than the maximum number of cores, that is, they all have four large and four small cores. We also haven't seen any models with fewer than seven GPU cores. That is, apparently, if we do not talk about different amounts of RAM, the performance of all Lunar Lake will be approximately at the same level.
Recall that it has already been confirmed that these CPUs will not have Hyper-Threading support, that is, they will offer a maximum of eight cores and eight threads.
