In the second half of the year

AMD today not only reported for the financial year, but also confirmed the approximate release dates for new Ryzen processors.

An employee at Tom’s Hardware says that AMD has confirmed the release of processors based on the Zen 5 architecture in the second half of this year. There are no exact dates yet.

Actually, it’s not even clear yet what kind of processors these will be. But, if we are talking about desktop Ryzen 8000 (the name is tentative), they may well be released in the fall. It is the release of desktop CPUs that is most likely, since the current Ryzen 7000 debuted at the end of August 2022, that is, by the time the new processors are released, the current generation will be two years old.
