No more indestructible Motorola, CAT and Land Rover smartphones. The company that produced them, Bullitt Group, closed down

But brands can later be licensed by someone else

It looks like there will be a little less rugged smartphones on the market released under well-known brands.

We are talking about the brands Motorola, CAT and Land Rover. What they have in common is that the corresponding secure devices were produced by the Bullitt Group, which seems to have closed.

Some Bullitt Group employees posted this on their LinkedIn pages, claiming that the closure took place as early as January 26th. Reason — failure of some critical restructuring. At the same time, it was previously reported that the Bullitt Group is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Bullitt Group was founded in 2009 and all this time has been producing secure smartphones, licensing different brands for this. Yes, CAT smartphones had nothing to do with Caterpillar itself, just as Motorola Defy was not produced by Motorola at all.
