All due to an engine oil leak
The Lada Niva Travel and Lada Niva Legend SUVs were subject to a service campaign, as reported by Auto News of the Day with reference to the specialized publication Lada.Online.
The reason was a possible oil leak from the engine, due to which on some cars the cylinder head cover needs to be replaced.
AvtoVAZ has issued a special order No. 73-23, which has already been sent to dealers. The document states that if the owner of a car from the list contacts the Lada dealership center due to a discrepancy “not sealing the oil filler neck,” the auto center specialists will replace the cylinder head cover assembly (items 21214-1003260-10 and 21230-1003260-00)
All necessary work will be completed the next time you visit the auto center, for example, during the next maintenance. All work will be carried out free of charge for clients.
