Now Ukrainians can easily and quickly track the status of customs clearance of international postal and express shipments – the corresponding online service is already available on the official website of the Single Window for International Trade at this link.

“Single window for international trade” is an online service of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, combining various international trade services; primarily for participants in foreign economic activity, but there are several services for Ukrainians, such as a car calculator. The next update of the “Citizens” section brought the function Registration of mail and express items. It allows you to quickly check the status of your parcel at customs by simply entering its number in the field (screenshot below).

A complete protocol for the passage of a parcel through the customs clearance process can be obtained after logging into your Personal Account and passing authorization using id.gov.ua. Additionally, you will need to specify the email address provided by the user to the operator or sender.

The service itself is undoubtedly extremely necessary and useful, and especially in the current situation: at the beginning, Polish carriers began strikes on the border with Ukraine, and still continue to block checkpoints. Currently, about 3 thousand trucks are stuck in queues, at least two deaths have been recorded and there is a threat to transportation on which the national security of Ukraine directly depends, including humanitarian and military cargo. Earlier, the Association of International Road Carriers estimated the damage to the Ukrainian economy at more than 400 million euros.

It remains to remember that the current limit for duty-free import of parcels from abroad is still 150 euros.
