But not OLED
The Nintendo Switch 2 game console is expected this year, although it is not yet known exactly when. Today new technical details about the console appeared on the Internet.
It is reported that it will have an 8-inch display. Unfortunately, it will be an IPS panel, not an AMOLED, although Nintendo may well release a version with the former later.
Recall that the current Nintendo Switch has a screen with a diagonal of 6.2 inches, and the OLED version — 7 inches. Many portable Windows consoles also have 7-inch screens, so the new Switch will stand out from them.
The screen resolution is unknown. The current Switch has 720p, but the new console will be significantly more productive. In addition, on an 8-inch screen this resolution may not look the best.
