The company also demands that all development be stopped and accuses the authors of Yuzu of causing Tears of the Kingdom spoilers to appear online.

Nintendo's legal department always finds new work: now the Japanese company's lawyers are trying to drag the authors of Yuzu to court, intending to recover from the creators of the most popular Nintendo Switch emulator material compensation for the damage caused by their activities, as well as to stop all related development.

Moreover, the number of subscribers on Patreon of the emulator's creators doubled during that period, which means that by their actions the Yuzu developers are helping piracy to flourish.
