Amazon Prime Video's Fallout series has received praise from the creator of the series' first video game. Tim Kane expressed his opinion in a video after watching the first two episodes of the series.
What Kane liked most was how the humor and overall feel of the series matched the video games. It is no coincidence that viewers, after watching the show, massively buy and rediscover Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.
Kane recalled that over the years, players have been too easily rebelled over an election they considered improper, or over problems with video games whose true nature they did not know. Taking advantage of the media attention, Kane called for always respecting the work of developers and refraining from excessive criticism or, even worse, threats.
Over the years, Tim Kane took part in the creation of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Pillars of Eternity and The Outer Worlds. Since 2020, he has retired and works as a consultant. In The Outer Worlds 2, for example, he will act as an assistant.
