In 2023, The Elder Scrolls 2 Daggerfall returns in an updated format. Bethesda fans continue to create

Fans have released a remake of The Elder Scrolls 2 Daggerfall on the Unity engine. The announcement of the Daggerfall Unity project took place in 2015, i.e. made for about 8 years.

Daggerfall Unity 1.0 was released on New Year's Eve: mechanics from the original TES Daggerfall were transferred to the Unity version of the classic Bethesda game; there is a huge rendering range (even without mods), smooth first-person controls, improved lighting, provided support for high resolution and widescreen monitors (provided for a retro mode of 320 x 200 or 640 x 400 with a VGA palette).

To run Daggerfall Unity you will need a copy of The Elder Scrolls 2 Daggerfall (instructions for Steam can be found here). The project's sources are open, so other community members can suggest some mod.
