After the engine plant, a new stamping shop will appear
This year, Haval plans to produce 130 thousand SUVs and crossovers in Russia, but in the future production will only expand. The new stamping shop will allow increasing car production — its commissioning will double the production volume of body parts.
According to Quto.ru, the new workshop will be located next to the existing one. At the moment, the site is being prepared for construction. It is unknown when the new stamping shop will open, but the engine plant was built very quickly, it is unlikely that they will delay with the new production.
At the moment, body parts are stamped at the Russian Haval plant by four Spanish presses with a total weight of 1,700 tons, and the dies for them are supplied from China. The percentage of defects does not exceed 5%, but it is planned to reduce it to 2%.
