Over the past year, COMAC C919 aircraft made 655 commercial flights
According to the MyDrivers resource, COMAC will invest several tens of billions of yuan in expanding the production of the COMAC C919 passenger airliner within 3-5 years – this is several billion dollars.
Statistics on C919 aircraft for the past year are also provided. In total (that’s three airliners), in 2023 they made 655 commercial flights, during which they transported 82 thousand passengers. That is, the average occupancy of the liner – 125 people. The flight time in commercial operation was 1914.13 hours. This is approximately 80 days of continuous flights. Considering that the airliners were put into operation gradually, and not simultaneously (one of the three aircraft entered the routes at the end of autumn 2023), this is a good result.
Recall that it became known earlier that more than 1,200 orders have already been collected for the COMAC C919.
