The companies now share less than $100 billion
Microsoft is again approaching Apple in terms of market capitalization and, quite possibly, will soon overtake its competitor.
Microsoft is now just under $100 billion behind Apple, its lowest level since late 2021.
Microsoft's capitalization is $2.73 trillion, while Apple's is $2.82 trillion. At the same time, the indicators of the former have been flat since approximately the beginning of December, but Apple shares began to fall sharply in price from the end of December.
But it’s worth remembering that just recently Apple’s capitalization reached $3 trillion, and so far no other company has crossed this mark.
