Private Division is responsible for projects from independent developers and now the company only has a small team left

According to IGN, Take-Two Interactive is looking for ways to close or sell the publishing house Private Division, in which the company has already made massive layoffs, leaving a small team working on already announced projects.

In February, workers were told that layoffs were inevitable, but no one explained the reasons for the cuts or specified how many people would have to look for new jobs. In April, most of the Private Division staff was laid off.

Private Division is currently working on an untitled game from Game Freak, Tales of the Shire from Wētā Workshop and the roguelike No Rest for the Wicked by Moon Studios.

Previously, Private Division terminated the publishing agreement with the studio Bloober Team and One More Level, known for Ghostrunner.
