It also became known that Microsoft has not yet finished making cuts – despite the closure of four studios at once
As Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier reports, after buying Activision Blizzard for $69 billion, Microsoft has begun to take a closer look at its gaming division and where the money is spent.
The company is currently undergoing a widespread restructuring and review of budgets, which means that the wave of cuts will not stop with the closure of four studios.
Several of Schreier's sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Arkane Austin was going to work on a new Dishonored, and Tango Gameworks was trying to get a budget for the development of a sequel to Hi-Fi RUSH.
