And also “breaks” the fingerprint scanner

Samsung recently released a major One UI 6.1 update for a number of its 2023 Galaxy smartphones. However, the update brought not only long-awaited new features, but also caused a number of problems.

Users began to complain about a 40% decrease in charging speed in the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 series models. As one Galaxy Z Fold5 user noted, the smartphone charges at 15 W even when using Samsung's official 25 W charger. Others report similar problems.

In addition, some users found that their devices overheated after installing the update. Then complaints began to appear about malfunctions of the fingerprint scanner, which, after installing One UI 6.1, did not work the first time.
