Lada Niva, Vesta and Granta received Russian pipes, hoses and seals instead of German and Turkish ones

These parts are produced in the Saratov region

As TASS reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Saratov Region, the local plant «Balakovorezinotekhnika» (BRT) imported a number of components for domestic Lada Niva, Vesta and Granta.

So, for the engine «Grants» began to produce two types of pipes, for «Vesta» – radiator hose (these components were previously of Turkish origin), for «Niva» – transmission seals. BRT has also mastered the production of three parts for the updated 16-valve 1.8 liter engine (aka 1.8 EVO).

This year BRT intends to master the production of engine mounts for passenger cars. Many Vesta owners complain about the right engine mount, perhaps a production part  BRT will correct the situation.
