At the recent State of Play event, Konami presented a short adventure from the Silent Hill series.
The Short Message appeared on PlayStation 5 immediately after the official announcement. Konami reported the number of downloads for the free-to-play game.
Silent Hill: The Short Message was released on the day of the event, namely January 31st. Since then, players have been able to experience the Japanese developer's new game for free. Konami announced that the total number of downloads has exceeded 1 million.
On Metacritic, Silent Hill: The Short Message received an average rating of only 51% from reviewers. Gamers rated the game a little better – 64%. Completing the game takes on average two to three hours.
