Alerts about personal data leakage are also available in the application for iOS and Android in connection with a phone number

«Kaspersky Lab» updated Kaspersky applications to protect mobile devices based on  Android and iOS. New features are available starting from versions 11.113 — for Android, and 2.82 — for iOS. The set of available options differs depending on the operating system.

Kaspersky for Android now helps fight not only digital surveillance using spyware and stalkerware, but also notifies the user about planted Bluetooth devices, including wireless tags. Such devices can be used by ill-wishers to monitor a person’s movements. The user will be able to see a list of suspicious devices on the application screen. The function is available in the free version of the application.

In Kaspersky for iOS, a function has become available to protect against the collection of data about users, for example, information about their activity by tracking systems in the browser. This option is integrated into Safari as an extension. In addition, thanks to the Kaspersky application, iPhone owners will now be able to block advertising banners in Safari, including potentially harmful ones.

A feature has been added to applications for both OSes that allows you to track leaks of personal data, for example, personal information, email address and passwords from accounts in third-party services linked to your phone number. Previously, this option was available in connection with an email address. The innovation is available for a paid Kaspersky Premium subscription.
