The Starter Pack was removed from sale just a day after Bungie introduced it

Bungie announced the Starter Pack add-on for Destiny 2 worth $15, and a day later withdrew it from sale. The pack included three exotic weapons, three cosmetic items, and various materials including 125 thousand Glimmer, 50 Upgrade Cores, 5 Upgrade Prisms, and an Rising Shard. Bungie explained the removal of the add-on from sale by the fact that it “ did not bring joy .”

Bungie got the community reaction to the expansion right to some extent, seriously smoothing over the corners, since most players were simply furious over the price of the Starter Pack and wrote comments that we cannot share for obvious reasons.

Others have called the Starter Pack a primitive attempt to deceive newbies into the ridicule of experienced players, since it contains nothing at all that could help in the game at the beginning.
