The updated Huawei Aito M7 Ultra, which is available at prices ranging from $40,000 to $45,600, has gone on sale in China.
Let us recall that Huawei Aito M7 became the car of 2023 in China according to users of the largest social network Weibo. The interior and exterior of Huawei Aito M7 Ultra have been improved, while the driving assistance capabilities have been expanded, in particular, the most modern lidar with a detection range of 250 m (versus 150 m in the previous version) has been installed. In addition, Aito M7 Ultra is also equipped with three millimeter-wave radars, 11 high-resolution cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars. A new body color, Interstellar Blue, has been added. The front panel has a closed design with a smaller grille, and the brand logo can be illuminated.
The Aito M7 Ultra is available in 5- and 6-seater variants with dimensions of 5020 x 1945 x 1760 mm and a wheelbase of 2820 mm. The cabin features a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central control screen with 2K resolution. Standard interior colors — apricot and brown, with optional orange available. In addition, the seats were trimmed in Nappa leather.
The car features the same Schröder acoustic diffuser technology as the Aito M9. Schroeder diffuser — This is a sound-diffusing design that is used to improve the acoustics of a space. The Schröder diffuser is a set of parallel recesses of the same width but different depths, which makes it possible to obtain a high degree of sound wave dispersion in a wide frequency range at any angle of incidence.
This is a hybrid car with a top speed of 190 km/h, which can be rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In the first case, the range is 240 km on pure electricity and 1300 km with a full tank of gasoline, and in the second — 210 and 1250 km. At the same time, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 7.8 and 4.8 seconds, respectively.
