iGPU with a frequency of almost 3 GHz. Desktop Ryzen 5 8600G appeared in the benchmark for the first time

The software may not correctly detect the iGPU configuration

The desktop processor Ryzen 5 8600G, which, along with the rest of the lineup, will be presented in the near future, appeared on Geekbench.

Thanks to the software, we can confirm that the APU contains six processor cores with a frequency of up to 5 GHz and an iGPU, which is identified as Radeon 5. The software says that it will have only four CUs, but in fact here we are talking about WGP blocks, that is, there are eight CU blocks, and that’s 512 stream processors.

If we compare the Ryzen 5 8600G with its predecessor, the Ryzen 5 5600G, the new product offers the same number of processor cores, a new CPU and iGPU architecture, increased processor frequencies and an almost 1 GHz higher graphics core frequency.
