Huawei will refund the deposit
Huawei, with the help of its newest sedan Luxeed S7, has begun to lure away potential Xiaomi SU7 buyers who do not want to wait long for the delivery of the ordered cars.
The company has made a lucrative offer to its customers, as reported by Chengdu Commercial Daily. Those who pre-ordered the Xiaomi SU7 can re-pre-order the Luxeed S7 and will receive a $700 discount.
On Sunday, the media asked a Huawei authorized store in Chengdu, Sichuan for comment on the news. A store employee confirmed that such a policy does exist. Huawei stores across the country can accept applications from customers, and the promotion will last at least until the end of May.
The above-mentioned employee also added: «Some potential Xiaomi SU7 owners are considering using other brands due to the long waiting time for the car. We take the initiative and introduce this preferential policy, compensating Xiaomi car owners for the loss of their deposit».
