These photos show the station for the first time in its full configuration.
The China Space Manned Agency (CSMA) has released the highest quality images of the Chinese Tiangong Orbital Station. The photos were reportedly taken by the crew of the Shenzhou 16 mission using a high-definition camera during a flyby of the space station before returning to Earth.
It should be noted that these are not just the highest quality photos of Tiangong, they show the station in its full configuration for the first time.
Let us recall that the base module of the station, Tianhe, was launched on April 29, 2021, and in 2022 two modules, Wentian and Mengtian, were launched. Tiangong became the world's third multi-module orbital station after the Mir stations and the ISS.
