Then the card can become more attractive

The other day, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE video card entered the global market, and a lot of reviews of this card appeared on the Internet. Among other things, it became known that AMD has limited the overclocking capabilities of the new product. It was assumed that this was done to keep the card in its segment, so that it would not compete with the RX 7900 XT. However, AMD has now commented on the situation, saying that overclocking limitations — this is a bug.

One of the authors of the Hardware Unboxed channel spoke about this, adding that AMD promised to fix the problem in the near future. Most likely, in the next graphics driver.

RX 7900 GRE has good potential, since its GPU offers a large number of CUDA cores. At the same time, due to the low frequencies, the card is very close to the RX 7800 XT. Perhaps more serious overclocking will make AMD's new product more attractive in the eyes of those potential buyers who are not afraid to overclock their video cards.
