As reported by Air Transport Review, the American company Boeing has resumed deliveries of Boeing 737 Max 8 airliners to China. Let us remind you that the operation of these aircraft in China was banned in March 2019 after two airliner crashes with a large number of casualties.

The first Boeing 737 Max 8 after a five-year break went to China Southern Airlines: it flew it from the United States to China on January 24. It’s interesting that this plane is by no means “fresh”: it was assembled in July 2019, and from then until November last year the airliner was mothballed.

Recall that China Southern Airlines became the first Chinese airline to resume operation of the Boeing 737 Max: on January 14, 2023, the carrier's Boeing 737 Max 8 flew from Guangzhou to Zhengzhou.
