They will be retrofitted with UVEOS
A recall has been announced in Russia of 23,432 KamAZ vehicles of various models that were sold from July 1, 2022 to August 1, 2023.
The company «Auto parts KAMAZ», which is the official representative of KamAZ on the Russian market, explained that the reason is the absence of a device for calling emergency operational services (UVEOS). According to the press service of Rosstandart, all machines will undergo planned retrofitting of UVEOS. The work will be performed free of charge.
By the end of the year, KamAZ plans to increase the production of trucks to 220 vehicles per day, and in 2025 to reach 240 vehicles. At the moment, with proper support, the plant can produce 200–210 cars per day.
