Euro Truck Simulator 2 features an electric truck for the first time in 12 years. The game wasn't ready for the full release of the model

The Euro Truck Simulator 2 fleet is periodically replenished with licensed trucks. There is an opportunity to test a modern truck, but with some restrictions

Recently, a Renault electric truck was added to the truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2. This is the first such car model in 12 years of the game's existence.

Renault E-Tech T is currently presented in Euro Truck Simulator 2 in a limited mode: at the moment you can only drive a new truck through completing “Agency Orders”; you won’t be able to fully own (buy) a car and put it in the garage.

This is due to the fact that now Euro Truck Simulator 2 is simply “not ready” for the full release of an electric truck, since the SCS Software team has not provided all the necessary infrastructure – there are no charging stations yet (if during the execution of the contract If the battery runs out, you will have to call the service for emergency recharging); work continues to integrate the model into the game.

The new truck is being distributed in the form of a free add-on Renault Trucks E-Tech T for Euro Truck Simulator 2, which can be added to your Steam library for free using the following link. It is unknown how long it will take for the full release of the truck.
