Elon Musk said he would ban Apple devices in his companies if the manufacturer iPhone integrates OpenAI products at the operating system level. The billionaire wrote about this in a series of posts on X.
“If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, then Apple devices will be banned from my companies. This is an unacceptable security breach.”

Apple previously announced a number of artificial intelligence features in its programs, as well as a partnership with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT to devices. Apple said it has built AI with privacy at its core and will use a combination of on-device processing and cloud computing to power these features.
In early March, Elon Musk sued OpenAI, which he co-founded in 2015, saying the company had abandoned the startup's original mission of developing artificial intelligence for the benefit of humanity rather than for profit. He also founded his own company, xAI, to challenge OpenAI and create an alternative to ChatGPT. During its most recent funding round, xAI was valued at $24 billion and raised $6 billion in funding.
