For $15,000
A couple of years ago, the boom around cryptocurrencies led to the fact that gaming video cards were widely used not for games at all. Now there is no such situation, but top-end adapters are gradually being used more and more often instead of accelerators for AI. For example, Tiny offers a system with six Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
The company chose AMD adapters because they have a better price-performance ratio than the RTX 4090. At retail, AMD's flagship card can be purchased for less than $1,000. At the same time, six adapters provide a total of 96 GB of GDDR6 memory, and dry performance is 738 TFLOPS (FP16).
For such a system the company asks $15,000. That's a lot more than six RX 7900 XTXs cost, but that's not all the buyer gets. The configuration also includes 128 GB of RAM, a 32-core Epyc 7532 server CPU, five 1 TB WD Black SN850X SSDs and two 1600 W power supplies. In this case, the motherboard allows you to allocate a full PCIe 4.0 slot for each video card.
