More than six months after the presentation of the Lexus GX 2024, the manufacturer has finally added an official configurator to its website.
It allows buyers to choose between three different trim levels — Premium, Luxury and Overtrail — each of which is available in upgraded variants (Premium+, Luxury+ and Overtrail+).
The cheapest way to buy a new GX 550 — This is the Premium trim, which starts at $64,250. Next up are Premium+ and Overtrail, which start at $69,250. Following are the Luxury and Overtrail+, which start at $77,250. The most expensive equipment GX — Luxury+, which starts at $81,250. All GX 550 trims are powered by the same twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 349 hp. and torque 649 Nm.
The Premium+ trim adds amenities such as the Lexus Panoramic View Monitor, rear door impact sensor, LED fog lights, and heated second-row seats. The Luxury trim adds 22-inch alloy wheels, semi-aniline leather upholstery, a 10-way power driver's seat, and front massaging seats. The Luxury+ package received a Mark Levinson audio system with 21 speakers, an adaptive adjustable suspension and a digital rearview mirror.
The base Overtrail looks more rugged with new wheels and beefy 33-inch off-road tires, as well as a locking rear differential and the Toyota Land Cruiser GR Sport's Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (E-KDSS). Other exclusive features come in the form of Overtrail-specific color options such as Earth exterior color, Olive Ultrasuede and Chateau NuLuxe interior upholstery, and two-tone paint options on all colors except black and white. The Overtrail+ trim offers additional driver aids, a rear door impact sensor, and massaging front seats.
