For $15,000
A 2005 Honda Accord sedan, which has been turned into an almost exact replica of the classic 1965 Ford Mustang, is being offered in the United States for $15,000.
The seller described the car as «the most reliable Ford» and «the most beautiful Honda». The seller showed not only photographs of the finished car, but also images of various stages of its creative transformation. It can be seen that, despite the bright appearance, the interior of the car looks quite shabby.
The original Honda Accord retains its chassis and powertrain with a 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine and automatic transmission. Most of the interior remains Japanese, but to add some vintage flair, the seller replaced the door panels with an old-school Mustang style.
Apparently, the doors, side windows, taillights and bumpers were borrowed from a real Ford Mustang. However, some parts do not match the original proportions, indicating that most of the body panels were custom made.
