Dasha Ostrovskaya's activities are not limited to covering the gaming industry. A horror movie starring her is coming
Terrabyte Games LCC studio is developing the Russian horror film “Run from Me. Alexandra” (or Run away from me. Alexandra). The main role was played by one famous blogger – Dasha Ostrovskaya.
The developers are positioning “Run away from me. Alexandra” as an action-packed adventure quest with horror elements:
“Alexandra, a lonely 27-year-old girl, after a hard week at work, went to a nightclub to celebrate her friend’s birthday. She meets a very attractive and wealthy man named Eric, who clearly has his eye on her. During the meeting, Alexandra loses consciousness.
When she wakes up, she finds herself in a small room with a chain around her ankle. Eric brought her to his country house for some of his games. Alexandra’s complete confusion gives way to determination, and she clearly understands that she needs to escape at any cost!”
The authors tried to rethink the horror model. Many are accustomed to the fact that projects of this genre contain various notes, notes, newspaper clippings, etc. Instead, in Run From Me. Alexandra” decided to introduce the concept of gadgetization – everything in the game will interact with the player through a fitness bracelet and phone:
“All important tools are in gadgets: flashlight, equipment, pedometer, breathing , as well as everything you might need to complete the game.”
