Logitech announced its own way to quickly interact with AI – Logi AI Prompt Builder, which allows you to call ChatGPT with one click of a special button on the keyboard or mouse. Next, you'll be presented with preset prompts, such as paraphrasing, taking notes, or shortening the text. You can also customize them depending on which ChatGPT options you use most often (ChatGPT Plus subscribers, for example, can set a basic image request).
The company is also planning to release at least one mouse model with a separate AI button pre-installed. The device will reportedly only be available in the US and UK, priced at $49.99 and £54.99 respectively.
At the same time, for Logi AI Prompt Builder it is not necessary to use a specialized mouse with AI – other Logitech devices will do (although, for example, the Logitech M557, which The Verge journalist Emilia David wanted to use during the test, turned out to be outdated for the program). After all, this seems like Logitech's way of getting more customers to buy its devices.
Logi AI Prompt Builder currently only works with ChatGPT and only understands English, although the company is working on linking the program with other chatbots.
