Second and third place buyers in Kazakhstan – Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage crossovers
If in Russia the Lada is an invariable hit on the car market, then in Kazakhstan the most popular car in May of this year was marked with the Chevrolet badge. This is the Chevrolet Cobalt. In May, Kazakhstanis bought 1,165 Cobalts. The car is also sold in Russia, the minimum price is 1.29 million rubles.
In second place in popularity in Kazakhstan — Hyundai Tucson, 1138 of these cars were purchased last month. In third place is «brother» Tucson — Kia Sportage crossover (900 cars sold).
Where are the «Chinese»? They are in the top 10 model list, but not in the majority: JAC J7, Haval M6 and Chery Tiggo 2 took places from fourth to sixth, on eighth place — Changan Alsvin.
Hyundai is the leader in the brand ranking, and in general, cars of one Korean concern (Hyundai and Kia) account for almost 36% of the market.
