UzAuto Motors (formerly GM Uzbekistan) will invest $67.4 million in organizing the production of the Chevrolet Cobalt-II sedan, as reported by the insider telegram channel «Avtopotok».
The release of commercial copies of the new product will begin in 2026, the planned production volume will be 150 thousand cars per year.
Previously it became known that the UzAuto Motors enterprise, which is located in the city of Asaka, will completely stop the production of the Chevrolet Lacetti model in April of this year. The last 12,000 units must have been collected since the beginning of the year.
