The author of the YouTube channel MacroBioBoi will pay attention to the complaint of one of the players. The victim was faced with the fact that his Necromancer was killed by his own minions. You can become a victim of this bug (or a strange combination of game mechanics) under certain conditions.

– Must be equipped with the “Blood Moon Trousers”, which have a couple of properties:

  • Your minions have a [3 – 7]% chance to curse enemies.
  • Opponents on whom at least 1 of your curses is active, they receive 70%[x] more suppressive damage from you.

– Skeleton mages have “Bones” ” you must select the option “When a bone mage dies, he leaves behind a corpse, and when he attacks, you get fortification in the amount of 3% of maximum health.”

It turned out that when the effect of the pants is triggered, the Necromancer himself, who summoned the skeletons, comes under attack, and not just the target they attack. The curse will work in a similar way, i.e. The Necromancer player will also be slowed down and begin to deal less damage (Curse of Frailty) or will take some damage each time his minions or himself deals direct damage (Curse of the Iron Maiden).

There is a theory that, from a technical point of view, Blizzard implemented the “fortification” mechanics like this: applying a “fortification” is considered an attack on the player himself and then his characteristics increase. Under normal circumstances, this should not pose a problem, but in this case, the Necromancer runs the risk of finishing himself off.

The “Infirmity” curse has a specific modifier “Terrible Infirmity” – when the player or his minion hits an enemy affected by the Weakness effect with health below 10%, killing him instantly. It does not work against bosses, but the Necromancer player is at risk.
