Now it's called Sportline
AvtoVAZ rebranded the «driver» sedan and liftback versions of Lada Granta. The Drive Active modification, which appeared last summer for the liftback body, will now be called Sportline.
As an AvtoVAZ representative explained, the renaming is due to the unification of the names of the Granta and Vesta sports lines. Now «warmed» versions of these models will be united under the common Sportline brand.
The production of Lada Granta Sportline (formerly Drive Active) is carried out by a subsidiary of AvtoVAZ, the Lada Sport company, specializing in sports cars of the brand. Granta Sportline is positioned as an intermediate option between the basic Granta and the «charged» Granta Sport with a 118-horsepower engine. Sportline sedans and liftbacks are equipped with standard 90-horsepower and 106-horsepower engines, but differ in suspension lowered by 18 mm and aggressive sporty design.
The appearance of the Sportline is distinguished by a developed aerodynamic body kit with red accents, a chrome exhaust tip, and 15-inch alloy wheels of an original design. The interior features — sports seats with Lada Sport logos, leather trim on the steering wheel and gear lever, red stitching and color accents.
Prices for Lada Granta Sportline remained at the same level. The sedan is offered at a price from 1,034,900 rubles, liftback — from 1,064,900 rubles in the basic Comfort configuration with a 90-horsepower engine.
