The car may be presented this year
The 2025 Audi Q5 has been shown in new images that show it with less camouflage than usual and a new grille design.
The radiator grille is wider and has a new pattern. The openings appear larger, even compared to the recently updated Audi Q8, although many of them are closed for the sake of aerodynamics. A closer look at the front reveals the elongated shape of the headlights, which are thinner than before.
Audi designers haven't changed much about the rest of the bodywork. Overall, the crossover has a sporty profile. Inside, there will be a free-standing infotainment display that will be joined by a smaller digital instrument cluster. The new generation is expected to benefit from technological advancements and new connectivity, safety and comfort features.
The 2025 Audi Q5 will be based on an improved version of the current generation MLB architecture. The car will rely on more efficient mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid units. Additionally, buyers in Europe will likely have access to diesel options, with the 2.0 TDI making its last appearance in the model.
Audi has not yet announced the debut date of the new Q5, but there is a possibility that it will appear before the end of the year.
