And the base model of the line is the quad-core Ryzen 3 8300G
Asus and ASRock have updated the description of their motherboards for AMD processors: the list of supported APUs includes four new models of the Ryzen 8000G line. They have not yet been officially presented – The premiere is expected in early 2024 at CES 2024.
The 8-core Ryzen 7 8700G with a frequency of 4.2-5.1 GHz will lead the line (at least according to the data that is available now). One step lower will be the 6-core Ryzen 5 8600G with a base frequency of 4.35 GHz.
Also in the series there will be Ryzen 5 8500G and Ryzen 3 8300G. The first one – 6 cores and a frequency of 3.55-5.0 GHz, the second – 4 cores and frequency 3.45-4.9 GHz. All processors with TDP65 W and multithreading support.
As for dGPUs, only the Ryzen 7 8700G will have a Radeon 780M graphics core with 12 compute units. GPUs of other models will be simpler (graphics Ryzen 5 8500G and Ryzen 3 8300G will have 4 computing units each).
