There is no time to get bored in Escape from Tarkov anytime soon. Battlestate Games has big plans for the game
The creators of Escape from Tarkov decided to talk about their plans for the coming months. Battlestate Games has a plan for a series of summer updates.
They presented a roadmap for June – August 2024. This month, integration of the main Escape from Tarkov and the session shooter EfT Arena, a new merchant – Arena Manager, as well as special in-game quests are expected.
Also in June, they plan to launch sales of the PvE mode for all editions.
You can see a mention of “Unity 2022” on the roadmap – many fans have long been waiting for an engine update.
In the “Tarkov Meta-Movement” community note one important change – the stimulant Drug 2A2-(b-TG) will be available at the Flea Market and you can find it yourself:
“They decided to change the exclusivity of the new drug 2A2-(b-TG). Now you can buy it at the Flea Market or find it at locations. Previously, the stimulant could only be obtained by owners of the Edge of Darkness edition through crafting in the Vault.”
Also “Tarkov Metamovement” draws attention to the fact that the authors of Escape from Tarkov touched on the topic of killcam – players have been asking for this feature for a long time, as it would help catch cheaters:
“On the last TarkovTV podcast, the developers mentioned that they are considering adding the ability to view the death of your character from the enemy’s perspective. Our Arena already has ready-made killcam functionality, but its implementation in Tarkov will be different.
When you die in a raid, the replay from the enemy’s perspective will not be shown instantly – the developers told Noisguy about this in a personal conversation.”
