Exlantix ET will arrive in Russia in the second half of 2024, so the crash test, whatever it may be, is of some interest

Chery organized an unusual, but quite spectacular crash test of the newest Exeed Exlantix ET crossover: it was lifted by a crane to a height of 31.9 meters (this is approximately the 12th floor level) and dropped down onto a 4 cm thick steel metal plate. Before the collision with the plate, the car picked up a speed of more than 90 km/h.

What's the bottom line? The front end of the Exlantix ET took a lot of damage, but the A-pillar did not move. Despite the fact that the doors were somewhat deformed, they were able to be opened by hand. Almost all airbags deployed upon impact. 10 minutes after the impact, engineers declared the absence of smoke or fire, the integrity of the traction battery structure.
