Tests were carried out by Rostec
Russian ventilator «Aventa-M» withstood freezing down to -60°C and a short circuit, as described in the Telegram channel of «Rostec».
«Mental ventilation devices of the «Aventa» line is produced by our concern KRET, or rather – Ural Instrument-Making Plant. This equipment replaces imported analogues and works in many Russian clinics. According to statistics, such devices continuously pump patients’ lungs for 5 thousand hours a year – the load is colossal»,— told the corporation.
The results of the crash test of the ventilator were commented on by Pavel Boltaev, head of the department of resuscitation and anesthesiology of City Clinical Hospital No. 36 in Yekaterinburg, with 35 years of experience. He stated that in terms of the number of complications after ventilation, Russian and imported ventilators demonstrate the same effectiveness.
However, American and German devices failed en masse after being admitted to the hospital due to power surges in the first year of operation and were sent for repairs. But the Russian device can withstand a short circuit.
