Changes will be prepared by June 18, 2024

Adobe was forced to revise its terms of service again after a scandal broke out. Let us remind you that according to the updated rules, the company can access content created by authors in Adobe applications.

As the company announced in a special note on the official blog, over the next few days Adobe will notify its customers about the plan to implement the updated changes by June 18, 2024.

The company also emphasized that it never trained generative AI to work with client content, did not take responsibility for the client’s work and did not provide access to client content beyond legal requirements.

In addition, Adobe urged users not to worry and explained:

You own your content. Your content is yours and will never be used to teach any generative AI tools.

We do not train generative AI to work with client content.

You have a choice whether to participate in our Product Improvement Program.

It is also clarified that Adobe does not scan content stored locally on the user's computer. However, content uploaded to the  servers is automatically scanned by Adobe to avoid posting material related to child sexual abuse.
