Thanks to the efforts of fans of Sony consoles, digital copies will not displace physical editions of games from the market in the foreseeable future
According to an Insomniac Games leak pointed out by users of the IconEra forum, almost 50% of sales of PlayStation exclusives come from physical editions.
As the best example God of War Ragnarok is given: sales of the game at the time of the information leak were 15 million copies, of which 4 million were digital, when everything else was disk editions.
From 10 million sales of The Last of Us Part 2, at least 40% were from physical copies. A similar situation can be observed with Ghost of Tsushima.
