The Perm enterprise ODK-STAR (part of the United Engine Corporation Rostec) is going to begin construction of a new test building this year. It will test hydromechanical units, including those for serial aircraft engines PD-8, PD-14 and PS-90A. Let us remind you that the new Russian PD-8 engine is intended for the import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft, and the PD-14 will be installed on the MS-21 medium-haul passenger airliner.

The total area of ​​the new building of ODK-STAR will be 4,355 sq. m. meters. It will house high-tech testing equipment, including stands for endurance testing, adjustment, running-in and preservation of automatic control systems for aircraft engines: SAU-8, SAU-14 and SAU-90. According to the director of ODK-STAR, the company is currently implementing several large-scale projects for technical re-equipment and construction of buildings.
