The cheaper OnePlus 12R
will be presented on the same day
OnePlus has published an official teaser with the date of the global premiere of the OnePlus 12 smartphone. It will take place on January 23. Moreover, according to the long-standing tradition of OnePlus, there will be several premieres: they will be held simultaneously in India, Europe and the USA. The characteristics of all OnePlus 12 will be the same, but the differences will be in prices.
At the same time, the premiere of OnePlus 12R is expected – the teaser shows it to the right of the OnePlus 12 in a darkened silhouette. It is expected that the specifications of OnePlus 12R will be the same as that of OnePlus 12, with the exception of the single-chip system: instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 there will be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Accordingly, the price of OnePlus 12R will be lower.
Recall that OnePlus 12 received an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.82 inches, QHD+ resolution, frame rate of 120 Hz and peak brightness of 4500 cd/sq.m. The device also received a completely new Hasselblad camera with 50, 64 and 32 MP resolution sensors, a 5400 mAh battery with support for 100 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging, and IP65 protection.
