Plug-in hybrid, it can travel on pure electricity up to 120 km
Orders for the third generation hybrid Volkswagen Tiguan have begun to be accepted in Europe. And such a crossover cannot be called cheap: the price starts at 48 655 euros.
The hybrid Tiguan in Europe has a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 116 hp, paired with an electric motor. In the basic version the power is 204 hp, in the top version – 272 hp The capacity of the traction battery in both cases is the same – by 19.7 kW⋅h, the declared range on pure electricity – up to 120 km.
In the basic equipment of the crossover – LED headlights, a media system with a 12.9-inch screen, 17-inch wheels and single-zone climate control. For an additional fee – adaptive suspension, seats with built-in massager, matrix headlights. That is, a hybrid Tiguan in the maximum configuration and with all options will be noticeably more expensive than 50 thousand euros.
