The five-door Jimny is still very rare
In Russia you can already buy the 2024 Suzuki Jimny. Moreover, one car is already on its way to St. Petersburg, and not a three-door, like most Jimnys of the latest generation, but a five-door. This version entered the market in the middle of last year in India. Actually, five-door Jimnys are exported from India to other countries. Specifically, the car is traveling to Russia from the UAE — as stated in the ad.
The seller valued the car at 4.3 million rubles. The ad states that this amount includes disposal fees. The car is in the top-end configuration GLX — with climate control, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel and media system with a relatively large screen, etc. But there is no leather interior.
For comparison, a dealer in Volgograd has a three-door Jimny in stock, and they are asking 3.09 million rubles for it (small bargaining is promised). However, the Volgograd Jimny has a manual transmission, while the five-door — «automatic». At the same time, all Jimnys have a simple 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 105 hp. and all-wheel drive.
Dimensions of the five-door Suzuki Jimny — 3985 x 1645 x 1730 mm, wheelbase — 2590 mm. For comparison, the length and wheelbase of the three-door — 3645 mm and 2250 mm.
